McDaniel Lambert's Crisis and Media Training is designed to ensure an open, honest and consistent approach to communication during crisis and when discussing other health, environment, and safety issues. The course emphasizes practical, hands-on techniques to enhance the credibility and improve the preparedness level of the organization.
Objectives:
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
- identify creeping crises
- develop a crisis response strategy
- working with the media during a crisis
- develop key messages during a crisis
- prepare and hold a press briefing
- deal with interviews

- case studies
- videotaping of participants in an interview
- press briefing role play
